On the afternoon of August 14, Wang Bing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Paint and Ink Industry Association, Jiang Jiaju, Director of the Industrial Development Department, and Liu Haoliang, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Paint Industry Digital Industry Alliance, visited Qingyuan Shichuang Paint Technology Co., Ltd. They were warmly received by Xu Junchao, Executive General Manager of Shichuang Technology, Guo Xin, Director of the Human Resources Center, and Wei Xianqi, Deputy Director of the Production Center. The two sides focused on the development of the automotive paint industry and the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

Shichuang Coatings is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development, production, sales and technical services of modern environmentally friendly coatings. Its products include automotive repair paint, original high-temperature paint, environmentally friendly water-based paint, rail transit paint, various industrial coatings, etc., which are sold well throughout the country and more than 50 countries at home and abroad. The company has established good long-term partnerships with well-known domestic companies such as CRRC Railway Vehicles, Dongfeng Motor, Changan Automobile, Geely Automobile, Great Wall Motors, and Wuling Industry. Among them, the “Sikaf” brand has won the title of a famous brand in China’s automotive paint industry.

In recent years, Shichuang Technology Company has accelerated the pace of digital transformation, and planned to build a second-phase base based on the first-phase 200-acre smart factory, and accelerated its international market layout!

Experts from the Guangdong Paint and Ink Industry Association affirmed the innovative development achievements of Shichuang Technology and shared the pain points and solutions currently encountered in the digital transformation of the paint industry. At present, the five major difficulties faced by fine chemical companies in digital transformation are: lack of people (the company has no digital talent reserve), lack of money (economic downturn, tight funds), lack of products (lack of digital products in the fine chemical industry), lack of models (lack of successful digital transformation benchmarks for visits and learning), lack of confidence (lack of confidence in the future, cautious investment), and suggested that Shichuang Technology should promote digital transformation in the direction of “small, fast, light and accurate” according to the actual situation of the company.

Under the guidance of relevant persons in charge, everyone also visited the Shichuang Technology R&D Center, Intelligent Color Adjustment Center, Testing Center and Production Center to experience the R&D and innovation capabilities of Shichuang Paint up close.
